Louise Fiszer

Louise (ncone@sirius.com) is a California-based cooking teacher and past director of Louise's Pantry Cooking School. She is a free-lance food writer and co-author (with Jeannette Ferrary, pictured on right) of Sweet Onions and Sour Cherries (which was nominated for a 1992 Julia Child Cook Book Award) A Good Day For Soup, A Good Day for Salad and Jewish Holiday Feasts, (Chronicle Books). Louise also wrote Season to Taste and The California American Cookbook (Simon and Schuster).

She has written for the San Jose Mercury News, Food and Wine Magazine and Bon Appetit.
