Your radio host is Ms. Jennifer Dianto, Seafood Watch Program Manager for the Aquarium.
Hear the first interview where Sally introduces Jennifer and they talk about sustainability issues, aqua culture, the Seafood Watch Program, over fishing, by catch, habitat destruction, illegal fishing, environmentally responsible ways to buy fish and support fisherman who do and the great fish choices available to us, such as: halibut, shellfish, catfish and wild salmon.
The world class Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch Program is in the forefront of developing global policies to both protect our oceans and develop sustainable programs for all the creatures in the sea. Besides holding sustainable conferences, such as Cooking for Solutions, they are involved in proposing sustainable policies to agencies, national and international governments.
Jennifer will discuss in depth these and other topics in the months to come. She will also be interviewing world renown scientists, policy makers, government consultants and experts in the implementation of sustainability policies.
