April 2017
  Happy Easter
Happy Spring and Happy Easter! Easter is Sunday, April 16 this year and many families plan a full weekend of activities, starting with Good Friday, which is Friday, April 14.  We are here to help you get prepared for any festivities you are planning such as bunny breakfasts, family dinners, and egg hunts. Easter means special foods, candies, books, and table settings.
If you are entertaining hang pastel balloons outside your home, decorate a few of your tables with pastel-color tablecloths and streamers and if your party is an Easter egg hunt have Easter baskets ready for the kids to take on the hunt, in case some children don't arrive with baskets.

Gifts are usually given for the most eggs found, finding the golden egg (wrapped in gold paper) and, if plastic eggs are used, whatever treats are inside these eggs.  A few gift ideas are stuffed animals, chocolate bunnies, Easter books, or gift certificates. And remember the hunt doesn't end until the last egg is found, so keep a count of how many eggs you hide!

To your left see a few Easter recipes.  More can be found in our Sally's Place recipe section
