The Chinese New Year, or the Year of the Rabbit, begins on February 3rd, and starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. The Chinese New Year is perhaps the most elaborate, important, and exciting holiday in the Chinese calendar.  Chinese people all over the world start the celebration on New Year's Eve.
