The Waterfront Cafe graces the lower level of Al Falchi's restaurant, while the upper level houses the Waterfront Restaurant for parties and holidays. With spectacular views of Treasure Island and the Bay Bridge the cafe or the more elegant upstairs restaurant are great for entertaining visitors. Downstairs it's all solid California inspired seafoodd: crab cakes are light and luscious; a whole crab has a lemon-butter sauce; while tender fried calamari are addictive. For the main attraction petrale sole, is the owner’s and our favorite and many a guest happily dines on the roasted chicken and pasta offerings.
The seismic re-do incorporates large supporting beams which means the hard surfaces make for a festive but loud environment so consider the outside heated patio or the tented deck dining where many a politician and celebrity have enjoyed the fare.
