Raised on home grown vegetables and a belief that quality cuisine need not be difficult to find or expensive, Alison Rowe opened her “farm fresh café” in San Francisco’s financial district in 2003 to fill what she saw as a huge gap in choices for area workers.

“Office workers get tired of the same old sandwich shops but they don’t necessarily have the time or budget to eat at a white-tablecloth restaurant every day” says Rowe, a Stanford grad who could just as easily be one of the bankers that she serves daily. “ I wanted healthy, real food and top ingredients to be easily accessible to people who spend most of their day away from home. “

.With personalized attention to customer choices and “Tasteworthy ™” as it’s trademarked keystone, harvest & rowe has gained a following of loyal repeat customers for individual dining and office meeting/party deliveries . With the addition of downtown’s first totally organic & fair trade coffee/espresso bar and the only warm, non-windy outside seating within blocks, harvest and rowe is worth checking out.
